Banana peelings as fertilizer: how to prepare it?

Banana peelings as fertilizer, Besides being a rich and healthy fruit, its peel can make a homemade organic fertilizer. And that’s what we are going to learn today!

The banana is an exceptional fruit because it has the characteristic of accumulating large amounts of potassium during its growth, an essential macro-nutrient for plants’ development. Banana peels are great for fertilizing because much of the potassium remains in the peel and can therefore be used to fertilize plants. In addition to being widely used on fruit trees, they are also widely used to fertilize roses, as their perfume lasts longer, among other benefits.

Could you wait for it to cool down?

Then strain and replace the water that has evaporated (until you have a liter again) and store.

If you have compost, you can put the husks there. If not, mix it directly into the soil of your plants.
